Matt's Homemade Mayonnaise Recipe

Co-Founder Matt has a love for real food with exceptional taste that doesn't come from a lab. Mayo is a staple in his household and he dodges the seed oil store-bought varieties and always makes his own. Watch below as he makes his homemade mayonnaise recipe from scratch in no time at all.

Ingredients (Makes 1 small jar)
- 1 Egg
- Mustard
- Salt
- Apple Cider Vinegar or Lemon Juice
- Extra Virgin Olive Oil or Avocado Oil
Method
- Crack one egg into a jar or bowl
- Add a teaspoon of mustard
- Add salt to taste (Matt goes quite heavy on the salt)
- Now add 1/8 to a 1/4 of a cup of olive oil
- Use a stick blender and blend for 30 seconds until it thickens
- Now continue to blend while adding around 1 cup of olive oil
- Add 2-3 tablespoons of vinegar and blend
- Keep in the fridge and enjoy :)
