Homemade Tallow & Beef Croutons

Ingredients
- Fat offcuts from your butcher (at least 1kg)
Method
- Cut the fat into small 1cm cubes (trimming as much meat off as possible)
- Add to a pan on low heat
- Render down slowly until the cubes have released the fat (could take up to 20mins)
- Stir until the cubes are crunchy
- Remove the croutons from the pan with a strainer
- Pour the tallow into a glass container to cool
- Store tallow in the fridge once cooled
- Generously salt the croutons and eat fresh 🤤
