Dehydrated Beef Jerky
We recently acquired a dehydrator for the office and have been experimenting with carnivore-based snacks and meals. We really love beef jerky but many of the shop-bought varieties (even natural beef jerky's) are loaded with added sugars, preservatives and vegetable oils. This healthy dehydrated beef jerky recipe will not disappoint.
Ingredients
- Grass-Fed Rump
- 1 Cup of Tamari Sauce
- 3 Tbsp of Worcestershire Sauce
- 1 Tbsp Smoked Paprika
- 1 Tbsp Black Pepper
- 1 Tbsp Onion Powder
- 1/2 Tbsp Garlic Powder
- Sprinkle Chilie Flakes
Method
- Cut the rump into thin strips (beef jerky size)
- Mix the marinade ingredients together in a container
- Place the rump in the marinade for 24 hours
- Dehydrate for 2.5hrs @ 70 degrees for a soft juicy texture (which we love) leave it longer for more chew.
