Dehydrated Beef Jerky

We recently acquired a dehydrator for the office and have been experimenting with carnivore-based snacks and meals. We really love beef jerky but many of the shop-bought varieties (even natural beef jerky's) are loaded with added sugars, preservatives and vegetable oils. This healthy dehydrated beef jerky recipe will not disappoint.

Ingredients⁠

  • Grass-Fed Rump⁠
  • 1 Cup of Tamari Sauce⁠
  • 3 Tbsp of Worcestershire Sauce⁠
  • 1 Tbsp Smoked Paprika⁠
  • 1 Tbsp Black Pepper⁠
  • 1 Tbsp Onion Powder⁠
  • 1/2 Tbsp Garlic Powder⁠
  • Sprinkle Chilie Flakes ⁠

Method⁠

  1. Cut the rump into thin strips (beef jerky size)⁠
  2. Mix the marinade ingredients together in a container⁠
  3. Place the rump in the marinade for 24 hours⁠
  4. Dehydrate for 2.5hrs @ 70 degrees⁠ for a soft juicy texture (which we love) leave it longer for more chew.⁠
