Gooey Choc Chip Energy Balls

When browsing the supermarket I noticed how hard it was to find snacks in-store that weren’t just sugar bombs. Don’t be fooled by labels like ‘High Protein’ or ‘Low Sugar’—always flip the pack and check the ingredients (food marketers are clever at reeling you in)
I love having a go-to snack in the fridge for busy weeks, and these tick every box:
✔️ Nourishing & delicious
✔️ Lower sugar
✔️ Higher protein + healthy fats
✔️ Actually satisfying
So, if you’ve been wondering how to use the our organ powder, this is it.
Gluten-free | Makes 16 small balls
Ingredients:
- 2 + 1/2 cup almond meal
- 1/3 cup collagen or protein powder (can sub more almond meal)
- 2 tbsp flax meal
- 1 tbsp hemp seeds
- 1 tbsp Ancestral Nutrition Primal Energy (promise you can't taste it)
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup nut or seed butter of choice (we used a mix of almond and peanut)
- 1/3 cup maple syrup
- 1/2 cup milk of choice
- 1/3 cup organic dark chocolate chips
- To a large bowl, combine all your dry ingredients (almond meal, collagen/protein, flax meal, hemp seeds, Primal Energy, salt) until no clumps remain.
- Add in all the remaining ingredients, using a spatula to ensure everything is adequately mixed through. Cover and set in the fridge for a minimum of 10 minutes.
- Enjoy as is or roll into your desired amount of protein balls. Set for a further 5 minutes, dig in and enjoy!
